and I am fricking tired...
I think I found the endurance game that was sought after in !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I just finished the iRacing 24 hours of Daytona. Honestly, my team didn't do too well, but the end felt like the Top Gear guys after they finished their BMW Diesel 24 hour race.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
I will have to write up a synopsis after I get some sleep (only got ~2 hours during the race)...

I won't have the space to install my triple monitor setup for a little while so i haven't turned on iRacing for quite a while... but i used to be rather fast...
I might just get an oculus. That will solve me space problem...

I used to love it, but get into 1 race with some kids and the next month is hell trying to get my safety level backup. Bit pricey also.. BUT, I still think it is the best I have used. Simraceway is up there but Iracing is more accurate. Can't wait for the write up! Hopes there is some vid to accompany it.

I would love to try the Oculus. I have tried an open source motion capture software (FreeTrackNoIR) but I was not able to get the camera set up properly within my space.

If Kinja hadn't deleted my iRaing blog I would link you to the article that showed you how iRacing can cost you $9 /year after an initial $53 investment. Perhaps I should rewrite it.
Unfortunately, I won't have any videos as my computer crashed 3/4 of the way through (while I was driving at 2am of course) so I was more focused on getting back in the race than saving clips.
I hope to have the write-up soon; honestly, it is difficult for me to look at a computer creen for more than 10 mintues after doing it for neary 22 hours straight, hopefully in the next 2-3 days.

as far as the kids, you'll get that, you'll get that in every game. You just have to play the system to get out of it (which is really easy). As I said on the other persons comment, I had an article on my iRacing blog about how to do that, but Kinja deleted everything. Still trying to recover everything.

I'm thinking about going with Oculus for pretty much the same reason.
